Access to clean water is crucial for health and daily life. Our water initiatives are helping to provide sustainable and clean water sources for rural communities in need.
Endao community in Baringo county with a population of about 3,000 are faced with a lot of difficulties especially because of lack of water. Because the area is arid, the people and the livestock have difficulty accessing clean water for drinking, cooking, gardening, and bathing. Grow Our Faith is working to ease the situation by providing tools like rain harvest systems, water tanks, and regenerative boreholes. We are working with the Water Warrior of India, Nimal Raghaven to restore the river Endao using his regenerative techniques.
Sumanga village near the Kenyan coast has no viable access to fresh water. They do have a little salt water from the Indian Ocean but the water must be treated before it can be consumed. We are currently raising funds to install a rain harvest system on the largest building in the village, the church. We have a lot of plans for the future of this village, which currently has no electricity, no industry, and only a long motorcycle trail for road access.
